To turn polytechnics and ITIs into technical hubs, the Chhattisgarh government signs an agreement with Tata Technologies.

An official said on Sunday that the Chhattisgarh State Planning Commission and Tata Technologies Ltd. had inked a contract to modernize agricultural research and innovation centres and transform technical educational institutions (polytechnics and ITIs) into technology hubs.

At his official residence on Saturday night, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

Speaking at the event, Baghel said there was room for the technology-based economy to grow and that young people's education, knowledge, and skills needed to match industry demands.
