Ahead of Ayodhya Ram Mandir opening, Oyo to open multiple hotels in the city – Ritesh Agarwal’s company’s BIG

Ritesh Agarwal’s hospitality technology company Oyo has big expansion plans in sight in the city of Ayodhya where the grand Sri Ram Temple is slated to open next year in January. The firm has announced to open 50 hotels in Ayodhya this year. Agarwal’s Oyo last week said that 25 of these properties will be homestays run by homeowners.
The remaining 25 Oyo properties will be small and medium hotels with between 10 to 20 rooms each. It shared that they are being 'actively supported' by Ayodhya Development Authority and Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation for opening these properties in a time bound manner.
