India’s homegrown e-commerce platform, Flipkart, is ramping up its beauty and personal care segment. The company has 60 per cent new customers from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, contributing to a 1.5X jump every year, and is introducing AI-enabled new technology to further increase penetration. Kanchan Mishra, Senior Director, Consumables (FMCG), Home and General Merchandise, Flipkart, spoke to businessline on the sidelines of the Glam Up Fest held in Mumbai.
