  • ALMM Update: MNRE Adds New Entrants, Enlisted Solar Capacity Surges

    In addition to the new entrants, several companies have received provisional ALMM enlistment for their additional solar PV modules and have applied to increase their capacities, such as Vikram Solar which already has an enlisted capacity of 1,151 MW per year, has applied for an additional 1,500 MW. SAEL Solar Mfg. Pvt. Ltd., with a current capacity of 117 MW per year, has applied to increase it to 300 MW. Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Pvt. Ltd. has retained its capacity of 676 MW per year and has new model additions. Similarly, HR Solar Solutions, with an enlisted capacity of 136 MW per year, has retained its capacity with new model additions. Further, ADM Solar Power and Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. has applied to expand its capacity from the currently enlisted 141 MW per year to 580 MW. Redren Energy Pvt. Ltd., which currently holds a capacity of 77 MW per year, has applied to increase it to 400 MW and received provisional approval. While, Waaree Energies, one of the largest players, received provisional enlistment for its modules this month. The firm has enlisted capacity of 9,668 MW per year and has applied for the same capacity. Mundra Solar PV Ltd. has retained its current capacity of 1,942 MW per year and received provisional approval for its modules.
