Arohan Financial Services, a leading microfinance institution in India, has appointed Arvind Murarka as its Chief Information Officer, strengthening its technology leadership as the company accelerates digital transformation initiatives.
Murarka brings over 30 years of extensive experience across multiple industries including information technology consulting, healthcare, infrastructure, food processing, and retail. In his new role, he will oversee IT infrastructure and application platforms, including core financial systems, while leading the company’s information technology team.
Prior to joining Arohan, Murarka held senior technology positions across various organizations, where he gained comprehensive expertise in managing complex IT operations and implementing digital solutions at scale. His diverse industry background positions him well to drive Arohan’s technology strategy in the competitive microfinance sector.
Murarka holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University, Sikkim. He has also completed an Advanced Programme in Leadership in the Digital Era from IIM Lucknow, equipping him with contemporary insights into digital leadership and transformation.
At Arohan, Murarka’s mandate includes modernizing technology infrastructure, enhancing digital capabilities, and implementing innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
