Arohan Financial to expand in south India

Microlender Arohan Financial Services Limited is foraying into the southern market and likely to kick off operations from Karnataka. The Kolkata headquartered NBFC-MFI has exposure in 17 states with Gross Loan Portfolio (GLP) at Rs 5,357 crore as on March 31, 2023. It is examining possible acquisitions or opening its own branches for entry into the southern states.
Manoj Kumar Nambiar, managing director, Arohan Financial Services said, discussions are on with two players for alliance arrangements.
