The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India awarded Basant Khetan — the Director of Neccon Power & Infra Limited with the prestigious National MSME Award as Outstanding NER Entrepreneur in Small Enterprises (Manufacturing) on 26th February 2020 in an award ceremony held at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan located at Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Basant Khetan received the said award from Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister, Government of India Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise & Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways in the august presence of Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Honourable Minister of State, Government of India Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise & Ministry of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries. Basant Khetan has been selected for this prestigious award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the growth and development of MSME sector in the North East. The Union MSME Department believes that the achievements done by Khetan in the MSME sector will surely motivate other MSMEs to grow, and help the government fulfil its major goals like "Make In India" and 'Zero Effect Zero Defect" set by the honourable Prime Minister of India.
