Former RBI deputy governor BP Kanungo, Kaushik Dutta join BharatPe board

Digital payments firm BharatPe has appointed BP Kanungo, a former deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and Kaushik Dutta, the founder of Thought Arbitrage Research Institute (TARI), as independent directors.
The appointments are in line with the company’s aim to strengthen its corporate governance practices, it said on Tuesday.
