Hyderabad: 10 lakh biryani, 4 lakh Haleem orders on Swiggy during Ramzan!

During the holy month of Ramzan, Hyderabad witnessed a massive surge in food orders on food-delivery platform Swiggy. Swiggy's Ramzan order analysis report stated that people in Hyderabad ordered as many as 10 lakh biryanis and 4 lakh plates of haleem.
Traditional favourites like haleem, chicken biryani, and samosas remained the most popular dishes during the holy month.
The City of Nizams, which is popular for its biryani and other Mughlai cuisine, witnessed a 20% increase in biryani orders on Swiggy compared to the same period last year.
