Food delivery and quick commerce company Swiggy has unveiled three new programs to enhance support for its restaurant partners. The initiatives include kitchen equipment procurement support, hygiene audits, and professional photoshoot services, all designed to boost operational efficiency, maintain hygiene standards, and improve customer engagement, as reported by Business Standard.
The kitchen equipment procurement support initiative will allow small and mid-sized restaurants to purchase essential kitchen tools at competitive prices. Through the Swiggy Owner app, restaurant owners can connect with trusted suppliers to ensure optimized kitchen set-ups and improved operational standards. Along with equipment support, Swiggy revealed hygiene audits as part of its Swiggy Seal program.
Conducted by FSSAI [the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India]-accredited agencies, these audits will provide valuable feedback on sanitation and facility maintenance at discounted rates.
