Jana Small Finance Bank, India’s biggest small finance bank, has reached a critical milestone by opening 751 branches in 185 locations across the country and expanding its affordable housing business. This action attempts to meet the country’s growing demand for cheap housing solutions.
Jana Small Finance Bank now has 751 branches distributed throughout 24 states and union territories. The bank has focused extending its footprint in underserved rural communities, with 272 branches in these areas accounting for 36% of total branch count. Furthermore, 396 of the bank’s branches, or 53% of the total number of branches, offer home loans.
