    29 April 2025

Global travel tech company OYO has added to its portfolio with a 16th century hotel set within 65 acres of Warwickshire countryside. The firm's parent Oravel Stays has signed a lease to operate Mercure Walton Hall in Warwick within its Sunday brand, with the property due to undergo a comprehensive refurbishment.

This forms part of a wider strategy to grow its luxury offering across the UK, adding a total of six new hotels to the Sunday portfolio, including Walton Hall. The hotels are expected to collectively welcome approximately 65,000 foreign visitors each year.
