    PPFAS Mutual Fund on February 24 has acquired nearly 6 percent stake in Blackstone and Embassy Group-sponsored Embassy Office Parks REIT for over Rs 2,364 crore via open market transactions.

    Embassy Office Parks REIT units corrected sharply by 3.3 percent on Tuesday to close at Rs 420.02, the lowest closing level since November 17, 2025, on the NSE

    PPFAS Mutual Fund has bought 5.6 crore units of the real estate investment trust at Rs 420 per unit, valued at Rs 2,364.4 crore. However, Capital Income Builder, American Funds, and Small Cap World Fund sold nearly 5.5 percent units in the REIT at same price for Rs 2,199.7 crore.

    Capital Income Builder offloaded 1.06 crore units (equivalent to 1.1 percent of total units outstanding) for Rs 447.4 crore, and American Funds Global Balanced Fund sold 1.25 crore units (1.3 percent stake) for Rs 525 crore, while the 2.92 crore units (3.08 percent stake) were sold by Small Cap World Fund for Rs 1,227.3 crore.

    US-based Capital Group-owned Small Cap World Fund was holding 4.01 percent stake in Embassy Office Parks REIT as of December 2025.

    Meanwhile, R&B Denims was also in action, which shares rose 1.29 percent to Rs 199.21 on Tuesday, continuing uptrend for 22 consecutive sessions from January 27. Pine Oak Global Fund has acquired 8.28 lakh shares in the Surat-based textile company for Rs 16.4 crore. The buying price was Rs 198.6 per share.
