Quadrant Future Tek Limited, a research-oriented company, announced on Thursday its collaboration with Indian Railways and Chittaranjan Locomotive Works to install and commission the Kavach system on 1,200 locomotives. According to a press release, the total cost of the installation is estimated at Rs 978.61 crore. The phased installation will prioritise timely delivery, quality, and seamless integration of the Kavach system. This project is expected to significantly enhance passenger safety and bolster India's position as a global leader in railway technology. "This achievement is a testament to Quadrant's dedication, innovation, and expertise in the development and implementation of critical railway safety systems," said Mohit Vohra, Managing Director of Quadrant Future Tek Limited.
