Razorpay founder Shashank Kumar takes over as MD, former Amazon executive Murali B new CTO

Payment gateway and business-to-business (B2B) neobanking platform Razorpay announced on June 29 that the company's co-founder Shashank Kumar has transitioned from his role as chief technology officer (CTO) to take on the larger role of managing director at the startup.
Former Amazon Web Services (AWS) executive Murali Brahmadesam will now assume the role of head of engineering and CTO, as the company aims to strengthen its tech capabilities during its global expansion through acquisitions.
With Brahmadesam leading the engineering team, the company aims to benefit from his over two decades of experience, gained from significant roles at Amazon and Microsoft in both India and the US.
