Reliance Retail Q1 net climbs 19% as footfalls touch highest-ever

Reliance Retail's net profit rose 18.8 % year-on-year in the first quarter of FY24, while revenue increased by 20.5% after the retailer saw its highest-ever footfalls at 249 million across formats. Reliance Industries' retail division, which runs 18,446 stores selling grocery, consumer electronics and apparel, posted revenue of ₹62,559 crore in the April-June period, while net profit was ₹2,448 crore.
