Delhi Capitals franchise is looking to let go of their star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant in the upcoming IPL mega auction. Pant might join the five-time champion Chennai Super Kings says latest media reports.
As per the reports, the franchise is willing to consider the trading but former Indian captain and DC’s Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly wants to continue with Pant as captain.
Team India is going to embark on their Gautam Gambhir era with the Sri Lanka series and Pant is part of both the T20I and ODI squads. India will play with two wicketkeeper batters - Pant and Sanju Samson for T20 and Pant and KL Rahul for ODI.
