    20 August 2025

Urban Company, a home services app, plans to make substantial investments to scale its new business line—providing house helpers within 15 minutes—over the next three years, according to venture capitalists and analysts.

This service, which was first tested in January 2025, is currently available in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad. Urban Company believes this offering will attract households that prefer quick delivery of products and services, leading to repeat bookings on the app and contributing to long-term profitability.

Additionally, the company, which is preparing for an IPO, is accelerating the fulfillment timeline for its core services—primarily beauty treatments and professional cleaning—to a range of 30 to 90 minutes.

Other players in the market, such as Snabbit, Pronto, Pync, and Broomees, are also working to establish a market for on-demand domestic helpers who can fill in when regular workers are unavailable.
