    Zepto is a grocery delivery app founded by Kaivalya Vohra in 2021 during the lockdown. Zepto has made rapid strides in a very short span of time to become one of the key players in the e-grocery segment. Vohra was also featured as the youngest Indian billionaire to secure a spot on the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List in 2022. Kaivalya Vohra is the co-founder of the grocery delivery app Zepto which was launched in the year 2021 during the COVID pandemic. Zepto has made rapid strides in a very short span of time to become one of the key players in the e-grocery segment. Vohra was also featured as the youngest Indian billionaire to secure a spot on the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List in 2022 (at the age of 19), according to The Economic Times. Zepto co-founder dropped out of Stanford University where he was studying Computer Science during the pandemic to start his own venture. How Kaivalya Vohra Founded Zepto Vohra joined the prestigious Stanford University where he was enrolled in the computer science engineering program. However, both Kaivalya and his classmate Palicha, dropped out of the university when their classes went online. It was at that point that they decided to take a break from their studies and start their own venture. When asked about why Vohra dropped out of Stanford, he told Business Standard," By the time our gap year ended, we had already raised quite a lot of capital and were scaling beyond Mumbai. It was a no-brainer at that point if we would like to pursue our studies or scale up Zepto."
