Zerodha market share increases to 19.2% even as NSE active accounts decline

Discount broker Zerodha reported a 158 bps YoY and 22 bps MoM rise in market share to 19.2% in February 2023. It reported a 5.2% YoY rise in its client count to 64 lakh, according to a report by Motilal Oswal.
On the basis of active clients, Zerodha reported a 1% MoM decline in client count to 64 lakh. At the same time last year, it had 61 lakh active clients.
