Bombay Gas Company Ltd. announced its FY24 results

Financial Performance:

During FY24, BGC experienced a significant improvement in its financial performance. The consolidated revenues surged to Rs 375 Cr, marking a dramatic increase of 190.20% from the previous year’s Rs 129 Cr. The company reported a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 281 Cr, a remarkable turnaround from a loss of Rs 24 Cr in the prior year. On a standalone basis, the profit stood at Rs 183 Cr, up from Rs 1 Cr in the previous year.

Operational Highlights:

BGC, through its subsidiary Excel Telesonic India Pvt. Ltd. (ETIPL), expanded its operations by deploying a dense neutral fiber network in Mumbai and Pune. It has built India's first full-stack carrier carrier and scaled its Small Cells Hosting business across 400 cities and towns. Additionally, the company is developing advanced infrastructure solutions like shared microcellular architecture with distributed antennas, Cloud RAN, WiFi offload, and Fiber-to-Home services.
