A G Enviro and BVG India are fined Rs. 2.68 crore by the NMC for improper waste collection practices.

A G Enviro and BVG India are fined Rs. 2.68 crore  by the NMC for malpractice in garbage collection.The 200 vehicles owned by A G Enviro and BVG India, who are responsible for door-to-door waste collection, were discovered to be hauling construction debris that they were attempting to pass off as garbage. It is alleged that the contractors are perhaps stealing significant sums of money by increasing tonnage without really collecting all of the city's trash.
