Notice regarding Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) capital reduction approved by NCLT

A notice has been sent to the shareholders of Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) stating that the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench, has approved RRL's petition to reduce its equity share capital. The reduction will apply to shares held by "Identified Shareholders," which is defined as any shareholder other than Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), RRL's holding company. The record date for the capital reduction is January 30, 2024. The shareholders who are on the company's books on that date will be entitled to receive the consideration for their shares and will have their shares cancelled. The ISIN of the company's shares will be frozen from the close of business on the record date.
