NSE introduces an overall capping on opening price during special Pre-open session of SME IPOs on the exchanges platform.

To standardize the opening price discovery and equilibrium price across exchanges during the special pre-open session for the initial public offering (IPO) for the SME platform, it has been decided that there will be an overall cap of up to 90% over the issue price for SME IPOs.

This price control cap of 90% will only apply to the SME segment and not to Mainboard IPOs, relisted securities, or public debt.
