PFC's Fatehgarh Ill Beawar Transmission Project Acquired by Sterlite Power: A Lucrative Investment Opportunity

Sterlite Power has successfully acquired Fatehgarh III Beawar Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle, from PFC Consulting Limited. This acquisition was made through the tariff based competitive bidding process and allows Sterlite Power to undertake the construction, ownership, operation, and transfer of a critical 350km, 765kV transmission corridor in Rajasthan for 35 years. The project will enable the evacuation of 20 GW of renewable power (in Fatehgarh (9.1 GW), Bhadla (8 GW) and Ramgarh (2.9 GW)), contributing to India's renewable energy vision of 500 GW by 2030. This marks Sterlite Power's 18th power transmission project in India under the TBCB mode.
