Trading Members may recall that effective April 1, 2023, the exchange had rolled back the increase in transaction charges in the Cash Market Segment and Equity Derivatives Segment which was increased in January 2021 mainly to augment the IPFT corpus of the exchange in view of certain market exigencies due to broker member defaults at that point in time. In order to optimise the overall cost of trading, the Exchange has now decided to reduce the transaction charges levied to the Trading members by 1%
