• He has a diverse professional background, having been associated with organizations such as Surya Fincap Limited, UTI Bank Limited, Allahabad Bank, State Bank of Patiala, and Bank Internasional Indonesia.
• With over 22 years of banking experience, Mr. Singh previously served as the Business Head for Micro Banking at ICICI Bank, overseeing the largest microfinance portfolio in India.
• He has also held roles as the Business Head for Rural and Agri Liabilities, Trust, Societies, Associations, and Clubs (TASC) segment at ICICI Bank.
• Additionally, Mr. Singh has experience in the Retail Liabilities group and Retail Infrastructure Group at ICICI Bank.
• He was nominated by ICICI Bank to serve on the boards of Cashpor Micro Credit and AsmithaMicrofin Ltd.
• ​Mr. Govind Singh was a member of the RBI's Working Group to Review the Business Correspondent Model and participated in RBI study trips to Brazil and South Africa in 2007 for financial inclusion research.
