Rahul Bhasin

• Rahul is the Founder and Managing Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners India, and holds a Senior Partner and Global Board Member position at Baring Private Equity Partners (BPEP) International.
• He serves on the investment committee for Baring Vostok Capital Partners (BVCP) and has been an advisory board member for the ING Group in India.
• Rahul served as the chairman of Mphasis Limited, leading its transformation from a small, loss-making company into a billion-dollar enterprise with substantial employee growth and revenue increase.
• He has held chairman or board member positions at various companies including RMZ Corp, JRG Securities (now Inditrade Capital), Secova, PharmARC, and Auro Mira Energy.
• Additionally, he chaired the audit and investment committee of HOEC, a significant player in the Indian oil & gas industry.
• Rahul has spoken at numerous conferences both in India and internationally, and is associated with organizations such as The Economist corporate network and TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs).
• Before joining Baring Private Equity Partners India, he was involved with Citibank in London, serving on the Global and Emerging Market Asset Allocation Committees and managing funds across various asset classes in different regions.
• Prior to his tenure in London, Rahul was the youngest "Independent Treasurer" at Citibank, overseeing the treasury business for Northern India.
• He has been a public spokesperson on economic policy and administrative efficiency, and has given guest lectures at prestigious educational institutions including The Wharton School, Harvard University, and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
• Rahul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with Honors from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
