- After completing his post-graduation, Sanjeev bikhchandani left his job marketing Horlicks at Hindustan Milkfood Manufacturers (now GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare India) in 1990 to embark on his entrepreneurial journey.
- Initially, he founded two companies, one specializing in pharmaceutical trademarks and the other producing salary surveys and reports. However, in 1993, he and his partner decided to part ways.
- Subsequently, in 1995, Sanjeev founded Info Edge, laying the foundation for his ventures in the digital space.
- In 1997, he established Naukri.com, a pioneering job portal hosted on a server in India, along with Quadrangle.in, an offline executive search business.
- By 2005, Naukri.com had emerged as India's largest web-based employment site, marking a significant milestone in Sanjeev's entrepreneurial journey.
- Expanding his portfolio, Info Edge ventured into other classified domains, launching platforms like 99acres.com in real estate, Jeevansathi.com in matrimony, and Shiksha.com in education.
- Beyond entrepreneurship, Sanjeev is also known for his astute investment decisions. He has invested in unicorns like PolicyBazaar and Zomato, showcasing his prowess as an investor.
