Acko acquires health tech startup OneCare in all-cash deal.

General insurance startup Acko has acquired the digital chronic care management company OneCare for an undisclosed amount. This all-cash acquisition supports Acko's vision of becoming a comprehensive healthcare provider for its customers, extending beyond insurance services, according to a company statement on Wednesday.

As part of the deal, OneCare co-founders Rakesh Shivran and Sagar Bhat will join Acko's leadership team. "We have acquired OneCare, whose core business values emphasize a customer-first approach and comprehensive care, aligning with our goals to address customer pain points," said Varun Dua, founder and CEO of Acko. "Integrating OneCare's capabilities will help us enhance customer experiences, ensuring they receive the best possible care."
