Cred rolls into insurance space via Garage platform.

Cred's expansion into insurance has completed its range of financial services, which initially began with credit card bill payments and later included Unified Payments Interface (UPI), as well as credit and wealth management. The company recently reported that 90% of its total revenue stems from payments, credit, and insurance.

Cred has established a significant presence in personal finance and also operates an in-house non-banking finance company called Newtap Finance. In February 2024, Cred enhanced its wealth management services by acquiring Kuvera. Now, the company has developed its own insurance distribution business through Garage.
