Flipkart opens two fulfillment centers in Uttar Pradesh; to create 3,600 jobs

E-commerce major Flipkart has opened two new fulfillment centers (FCs) in Uttar Pradesh, it said in a media release. The new fulfillment centers include a grocery FC in Varanasi and a sortation center in Unnao and were virtually inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Covering over 5 lakh sq. ft of storage space, the centers aim to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce delivery times, while creating more than 3,600 direct and indirect jobs, according to a statement.
