Guwahati: The Income Tax Department on Tuesday conducted raids in Guwahati and Jorhat in connection wi alleged tax evasion by a businessman, sources said. According to sources, the IT department sleuths are said to have conducted raids at the Neccon Power and Infra Limited's office in Guwahati and the residence of the businessman in Jorhat. The businessman is said to have been associated with Neccon Power and Infra Ltd.
