Marine company Seamec inks $19-million charter deals with HAL Offshore

Marine services company Seamec Ltd on Tuesday (December 26) said it has formalised the memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with HAL Offshore Ltd for charter of advanced offshore support vessels, namely ‘Sea Pearl’ and ‘Sea Diamond,’ that will be deployed for ONGC, as per the contract.
Under the terms of the MoUs, both vessels will be chartered at a rate of $8,750 per day for three years, amounting to a combined value of $19.18 million, exclusive of GST, according to a stock exchange filing. The agreements also include provisions for potential extensions based on operational requirements.
