Road scam: Relcon Infraprojects director Dipan Shah held, sent to police custody till July 16

​The Azad Maidan police on Wednesday arrested Dipan Shah (47), director of Relcon Infraprojects Ltd, on suspicion of his alleged involvement in the BMC road scam. The total number of arrests made in the case has reached to 25.

According to the police, Relcon Infraprojects is one of the construction firms to whom the BMC had assigned the repair work of the roads. Relcon Infraprojects was assigned the construction of five roads — Purushottam Kheraj Marg, Madanmohan Malviya Road, the road between bldg no.236 to bldg no. 239 in Kannamwar Nagar, the road between bldg no. 232 to bldg no. 173 in Kannamwar Nagar and road between bldg no. 219 to bldg no. 244 in Kannamwar Nagar — in the eastern suburbs of the city.
