Signify and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Illuminate 61 Villages

Signify, the world leader in lighting, today announced a collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board to bring sustainable outdoor lighting infrastructure to 61 tourism-led villages across the state under its ‘Har Gaon Roshan’ CSR Program. This initiative prioritizes tribal communities and regions near national parks, aiming to enhance safety, visibility, and the overall tourist experience in these underserved areas.

The project is implemented in partnership with Signify’s long-standing NGO partner, Haritika, providing energy efficient outdoor lighting solutions in these remote villages. By supporting local infrastructure development, the project will also enable in creating a well-lit environment for tourists and locals, while fostering economic opportunities for the communities.
