  • Sresta unveils "Freedom from pesticides campaign"

    12 August 2017

'Freedom from pesticides this independence day’ was the mantra at the unveiling of Sresta Natural Bioproducts, “Freedom from Pesticides” campaign.

Flagged off by BBMP Mayor G Padmavathi in the presence of cardiologists, nutritionists, chefs, and environmentalists, the campaign, which starts from August 12, aims to create awareness about the ill effects of pesticide contaminated food and promote organic food.

The campaign brings a unique offering - consumers can enjoy savings up to 30% on select Sresta promoted, 24 Mantra Organic products. Organic food is generally perceived to be more expensive than conventional food. Hence this offer should encourage
more consumers' to try the range of organic products.

"The state government has taken many measures to control adulteration of food. We also expect citizens to be conscious and report instances of adulteration, if any to the authorities, so that action can be taken against the offenders" said Padmavathi.

"Organic is more than just a label, it is a lifestyle and it starts from the moment crop is sown. We hope everyone will utilize the opportunity of larger selections of our current products and the newly launched products. It is a step towards enhancing the quality of lives of consumers, farmers and environment through a unique model where we are actively involved at each stage" said Rajashekar Reddy Seelam Founder and MD-Sresta Natural Bio products.
