Tata Capital IPO Delay | RBI’s New Guidelines | IPO Alert

It seems Tata Capital might not be able to launch its IPO until September 2025! They have requested another year from the RBI because the merger with Tata Motor Finance is still happening. The probability of Tata Capital getting an extension on the listing timeline is quite high. This merger is happening on the RBI’s advice, as the central bank no longer prefers the same business targets for NBFCs under a single group. Therefore, it was decided to merge Tata Motor Finance with Tata Capital. After the merger, Tata Capital will be the primary entity handling vehicle financing.

The IPO delay might seem like a setback, but it will give Tata Capital time to become a strong and integrated entity. This strategic pause could be helpful for a successful IPO and long-term growth and stability. What do you think?
