BVG Group announces Indigenous Manufacturing of Solar Modules, Project will provide employment opportunities in North India

    26 July 2024

BVG Group has announced Indigenous Manufacturing of Solar Modules using latest European technology in North India. The primary goal of BVG's Solar Division, BVG Clean Energy Ltd., is to construct clean energy projects around the globe, such as Solar PV projects, Solar Pumps, and LED Lighting projects. A 500 MW fully automated module production line from BVG's Multi-GW project, which has extensive experience in the PV industry, is the project's Phase-1. The ambitious 2 GW project for the Module line's first phase is being sourced from Mondragon Assembly in Spain.  In the future, Mondragon Assembly will be able to adapt to any current need in the solar industry because it is a specialist turnkey line provider with high technological value. "This will be one of the biggest lines in North India being done by BVG Group which would be a class apart and will deliver one of the best quality products to cater to the needs of the country. This is in line with the 'Make in India' programe reinforcing the ambitious plans of the country for 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'. Not only this, the project will provide employment opportunities in North India as well," said Hanmantrao Gaikwad, CMD, BVG India Ltd. The BVG India Renewable Energy Journey started in 2017 with a number of modest Rooftop projects totaling 5 MW. The internal BVG team created, installed, and launched each project. Following that, it kept expanding its portfolio and entered into competitive bids for EPC services for additional developers, successfully commissioning more than 700 MW of solar projects.
