Launch of 'Drone Yatra' in Punjab & Haryana by Syngenta

Syngenta India launched an awareness drive to promote the use of drones in agriculture. The drive involved the use of 100 drones to spray Incipio, an advanced crop protection solution, in Punjab and Haryana. The drive aims to educate farmers about the benefits of using drones in agriculture, such as increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved sustainability. The drive is also expected to create new employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in the agriculture sector. Syngenta drone yatra is travelling in Punjab and Haryana and is targeting to cover approximately 10,000 farmers across multiple districts about the benefits of drone spraying. Over 600 farmers from Macchiwara in the Ludhiana district participated in the demonstration, underlining their keen interest in harnessing innovative technologies for enhanced agricultural practices.
