MobiKwik Eyes Higher Share of Wallet in Travel; collaborates with leading Airlines and OTAs

MobiKwik, one of India's leading mobile wallets and the largest Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) FinTech startup, has announced a cooperation with prominent partners in the travel, tourism, and aviation industries to provide passengers with a smooth and simple payment experience.

Users will be able to book travel by air, train, bus, and road, as well as hotel stays, using the MobiKwik wallet in just a few simple clicks. Users will also be able to take use of the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) service MobiKwik Zip and cashback incentives.

MobiKwik has worked with well-known merchants such as Vistara, SpiceJet, and Indigo in the airline industry, as well as online travel aggregators such as ixigo, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, EaseMyTrip, Yatra, AbhiBus, Zing Bus, and car rental firms such as Savaari, Drive U, and Zoomcar.

As per Mobikwik CEO, their travel segment has witnessed 60% growth as compared to the last year.
