Reliance Retail shares have been cancelled, and the corresponding funds have been credited to the accounts of shareholders.

After receiving approval from NCLT, the share capital reduction plan was implemented with the goal of making Reliance Retail a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd. (99.91%). This strategic move is designed to improve the efficiency of business structuring. The plan also includes the repurchase of the remaining shares at Rs 1,380 per share. After deducting 10% TDS, the designated number of shares has been canceled, and the corresponding amount of Rs. 1242 per share has been credited to the accounts of respective individual shareholders (excluding Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd., RRL's holding company).
