Rohit Kapoor, the head of marketing at OYO, resigns and joins Swiggy as its CEO.

Rohit Kapoor, the global chief marketing officer of hotel aggregation platform OYO, has left the organization and will likely soon become the CEO of food delivery service Swiggy.

Ankit Gupta was promoted to be the chief executive officer of India by Softbank-backed Oyo earlier this year, while Rohit Kapoor was transferred to the post of the company's global marketing director. After being promoted, Gupta will now oversee Workspaces in addition to overseeing OYO's primary businesses in India, Hotels, and Homes. Contrarily, Kapoor held the position of CEO of OYO India & Southeast Asia before accepting the position of global CMO at the hotel aggregation platform.
