Sterlite Power receives transmission project orders at ₹ 1,400 crores.

These new orders, which were won across domestic and international markets, have strengthened the company's total order book for the business unit to Rs 5,200 crore for the entire 2022-23.

• As part of the wider Eastern Region Expansion Scheme—XXIX, the business has obtained a significant order from Powergrid to upgrade/upgrade its 400 kV Jharsuguda/Sunclargarh—Rourkela line and implement its reconductoring solution.
• Additionally, the business would construct 220 kV double circuit transmission lines for Serentica Renewables, the Group's subsidiary that deals with renewable energy. It will construct the transmission lines necessary for the national grid to receive renewable energy from the future solar and wind farms in Rajasthan and Karnataka.
• Customers in the SAARC area have placed significant orders with Sterlite for conductors and optical ground wire (OPGW) in the product manufacturing industry. The orders are from Transrail and include repeat business from the USA and the LATAM region as well as the Power Grid Corporation of Bangladesh's river crossing project.
