Shark Radhika Gupta's entrepreneurial pursuit is a captivating success story that motivates and inspires many young budding entrepreneurs. She is the MD and CEO of Edelweiss Financial Services Limited Mutual Fund, one of India's fastest-growing asset management companies, and a new judge on Shark Tank India season 3. But her journey was not easy. She faced many challenges and setbacks, from being born with a broken neck to facing job rejections and depression. Yet, she overcame them all with her grit, determination, and passion.

• She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics, and Economics from the Wharton School. She faced rejection from seven companies after graduation and even contemplated suicide, but bounced back and got hired by McKinsey as a business analyst.

• Later on She moved back to India at the age of 25 and co-founded Forefront Capital Management, India's first domestic hedge fund, with her husband and friend.

• She sold Forefront to Edelweiss in 2014 and became the CEO of Edelweiss Asset Management in 2017, overseeing the acquisition of JP Morgan Mutual Fund and the launch of Bharat Bond ETF, India's first corporate bond exchange-traded fund.

• She grew the assets under management of Edelweiss from ₹6.5 crore to over ₹1 lakh crore in five years, making it one of the top 10 mutual fund houses in India.

• She was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2019 and received the ET Women Ahead Award in 2020.

• Radhika Gupta's net worth as of 2023 is estimated to be around INR 41 crore. Some of her notable investments include: Bharat Bond ETF, India's first corporate bond exchange-traded fund (ETF), which aims to provide low-cost and diversified exposure to the Indian bond market, JP Morgan Mutual Fund, which was acquired by Edelweiss in 2016–2017 and integrated into its asset management business.
