Syngenta India introduces Incipio & Simodis — cutting-edge agricultural products designed for paddy and vegetable farmers in India

Syngenta India has launched advanced plant protection solutions, Incipio and Simodis, catering to paddy, cotton, and vegetable farmers in India. These products offer effective defense against pests, leading to improved crop yields and quality. They are specifically designed to address challenges arising from climate change and pest resistance. Pests can cause significant yield losses if not controlled in time, with current solutions requiring numerous applications and incurring higher costs. Incipio and Simodis provide longer duration control against resistant pests, offering an alternative and sustainable solution. According to the IRRI, farmers lose an average of 37% of their rice crop annually to pests and diseases. Syngenta India's new technology aims to enhance farmers' resilience and support sustainable food production by reducing chemical load on farmland. The unique mode of action ensures effective control over a wide range of pests, even in cases where older products fail. Mr. Susheel Kumar, Country Head and Managing Director of Syngenta India, expressed enthusiasm for these solutions, emphasizing their potential to address many pest-related challenges faced by farmers.
