Pristine Logistics and Infraprojects Ltd, which has received a $25 million investment from the UK-based Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC), may receive another round of funding soon.
The company will use the funds to develop rail freight terminals and container terminals in developing regions such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha. It also plans to expand into third-party logistics. Pristine Logistics and Infraprojects, a Rs 100 crore company, is promoted by two former railway traffic service officers -- Rajnish Kumar and Amit Kumar. "The investment is for a minority stake," Rajnish Kumar, promoter and founder director of the company told BusinessLine. He declined to share specific details. Pristine
already has an investment from UTI Capital for a minority stake. Both investments put together also comprise a minority stake.
